Glinda's sister
The Birthday Fairy
Catcher of Candle Wishes
Glinda's sister waits very still beside birthday cakes, just out of sight behind the frosting.
When a child blows out the candles, she catches the wish in the curl of smoke before it drifts away.
She has discovered that wishes can travel in other ways, too, even in the steam above a warm mug of cocoa.
